Annual Partners
We know, and statistics prove, prenatal care is an investment in the long-term health of our families and community. With this investment, fewer public funds are needed for intensive care and special needs. Since our services are of greater breadth and depth than services paid for by the State, our fundraising efforts are ongong. To this end, Healthy Moms and Babies will launch an Annual Partners Program in January 2008.
Annual Partners are individuals and businesses committed to help maintain our pregnancy care, education and support services. Annual Partners will participate in our signature events and their support will be recognized throughout the year.
We are happy to announce our first two Annual Partners, ALKAR and Silverado Farming Company, already committed to help launch our new year.

In collaboration with the Community Foundation of the Napa Valley, Pete Richmond’s Silverado Farming Company has established One Percent For Our Community, a Community Foundation Donor Advised Fund to engage business support for local non-profit organizations.
“We're reinvesting 1% of our gross revenues to help build a stronger, more sustainable community, and we're inviting other businesses to join us," Richmond announced.
"Napa Valley has a wonderful tradition of individual and business philanthropy. The One Percent Fund builds on this history, providing businesses with a pooled resource to increase the impact of their charitable giving," said Community Foundation President Terence Mulligan.
"The idea to form the fund was based on our positive experience collaborating with a number of charitable organizations to bring medical, social and financial support services to Napa Valley families. One Percent For Our Community provides a focal point for our giving and the opportunity to collaborate with other Napa Valley businesses to build a more vibrant and healthy home for our families and our neighbors," explained Richmond.
Silverado Farming Company is a progressive vineyard development and management firm specializing in premium, privately-held vineyards. Building collaborative relationships at every level of business, Silverado Farming is focused on providing exceptional quality, nurturing a strong community, and producing great wine. Their participation in the Healthy Moms and Babies Annual Partner Program will help provide quality care to new mothers and their families. |
